About
Daryl Niemerow is a philanthropic strategist and social impact advisor with over 25 years of experience guiding nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven leaders through transformational moments.
Over the course of her career, Daryl has held several pivotal leadership roles. At LA’s BEST After School Enrichment Program, based in the Offices of Los Angeles Mayors Eric Garcetti and Antonio Villaraigosa, she secured critical funding and philanthropic support, leading strategic growth. She launched and served as the founding Executive Director of the Daniel Pearl International Journalism Institute and IDC, Herzliya, Israel, in partnership with Columbia University. Prior to that, she held leadership positions with the Carey Institute for Global Good and the British Council at the United Nations, where she fostered partnerships and secured program funding in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Known for her ability to blend visionary thinking with practical execution, Daryl specializes in strategic philanthropy, fundraising, leadership transition, and scaling infrastructure for lasting change. Her work is grounded in values, driven by equity, and focused on outcomes that matter.
